INGREDIENTS:

- 1 Lb. Shrimp 

- 1 Tbsp. Each of Salt, Pepper, Smoked Paprika, Minced Garlic, Parsley

- 1 Tsp. Cayenne Pepper

- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

- 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced

- 2 1/2 C. Heavy Cream

- 3 Tbsp. Fresh Basil

- 2 1/2 C. Fresh Grated Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese

- 2 C. Cooked Fettuccine Pasta

- Salt to Taste

Heat frying pan to meduim heat.  In a bowl, combine shrimp and spices until evenly coated and transfer to pan. Cook 1 - 2 minutes on each side, or until shrimp is just cooked and remove from heat. Set to the side. Clean pan and reheat to medium heat. Add 1 Tbsp of oil and add minced garlic and stir until slightly browned, and then add in heavy cream. Stir for 1 minute and bring to a simmer (Be careful not to boil cream or it will curdle). When small bubbles appear, add in Parmesan cheese and stir until thickened. Once thickened add in fresh basil and stir, remove from heat and add in cooked pasta. stir until evenly coated and add salt to taste. Remove from pan and plate, adding shrimp on top and serve immediately. (Makes 6 - 8 servings)
