Turkey Cannelloni Recipe
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
2 Lbs. Ground Turkey
1/4 C. Finely Chopped Onion
1 Tsp. Fresh Minced Garlic
1/2 C. Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 C. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 to 3 Tbsp. Heavy Cream
2 Eggs, Beaten
1 to 2 Tsp. Italian Blend Seasonings
Pinch of Pepper
1 Package Cannelloni or Manicotti Pasta
1 to 2 Jars of Your Favorite Spaghetti Sauce (Our Sauce Is Delicious With This Recipe)
In a large pan, add olive oil and heat stove to medium heat. Add onion and garlic and sautée until onions are tender. Add in ground turkey and continue to cook until meat is brown, then remove from heat and drain excess oil and liquid.
In a large bowl, stir meat mixture (this will still be hot), cream, eggs, seasonings, pepper, and half of Parmesan cheese.
When the mixture is cool, fill the uncooked cannelloni shells.
Spread a thin layer of spaghetti sauce into bottom of a 13x9 inch baking dish and arrange filled Cannelloni. Pour remaining spaghetti sauce on top, sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan cheese and cover with foil.
Bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes or until pasta is tender when pierced with fork. Remove from oven and add mozzarella cheese. Re-add to oven uncovered and bake just until cheese is melted. Sprinkle more seasoning on top as desired.
